  • Not a New Way to Sell a Car....BUT??

    Posted by Craig

Earlier this month, Kim Ridley of Eugene, Oregon wanted to sell his 1977 Datsun on eBay.  And to give his listing a little extra juice, he figured he'd post SEXY PHOTOS of a WOMAN posing with his car.

--And the woman he recruited for the photos was . . . HIS OWN DAUGHTER.

--He did a photo shoot featuring his car and his 20-year-old daughter Lexxa . . . that's Lexxa with two x's, although once she switches to porno she'll probably add a third one.

Kim says, quote, "If I felt bad about it, I wouldn't do it."  His Datsun ended up getting five bids and sold for $7,500.

    Classy Dad, way to go!

  • The New Furby is Here?!?

    Posted by Craig

According to toy industry experts, one of the biggest toys this holiday season is . . . the FURBY.  Yes, the same creepy, talking Furby that kids loved back in the late '90s.  They start at $54, but apparently they're already sold out at Walmart, and almost gone from Amazon.

You might want to check with your kids before you invest in this. I remember the first time around these were all the rage, and then the kids never really played with them!

  • Meet Hue...the $60 light bulb from Apple

    Posted by Justin Henriksen

You've proven to Apple you'll happily overpay for whatever they sell.  So they're going to keep pushing until you give them a reason to stop.

Apple has teamed with Philips on the, quote, "world's smartest light bulb," called Hue.  It goes on sale today, exclusive in Apple stores . . . and it costs $59.  For one light bulb.  $59.  Now, granted, it's not a normal light bulb.  The Hue system works with your iPad or iPhone.  You can wirelessly control your light bulbs.  You can make them brighter or dim them.  They change colors for mood lighting like "sunset" or "beach scene."

And see?  You heard that, and now you kinda want them.  SHEEPLE.

TAYLOR SWIFT TAKES IT ALL OFF

Taylor Swift had five costume changes during her video for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” The clip was shot in one take, which meant she had to get changed during the shot. BEST ORIGINAL SONG OSCAR CATEGORY EXPANDS BACK TO FIVE NOMS

The Academy Awards have changed the rules regarding the Best Original Song category.  This past year, only two songs were nominated for the Oscar: “Man or Muppet” from The Muppets, which won the award, and “Real in Rio” from Rio. Songs from Elton John, Madonna and P!nk, did not make the cut, which led to a lot of complaints.  According to Billboard, after a few years of using a scoring system to choose the nominees, a new voting procedure has been developed.  Now voters will watch clips of the films featuring the songs and will vote for five songs.  The top five most-chosen songs will be nominated for the award.  There are some other stipulations that could cut back on nominees.  If there are 25 or fewer qualified songs submitted, the branch's executive committee can recommend to the board that nominations be limited to three. And if there are nine or fewer qualifying works, the committee can recommend that no award be given that year. Last year, 39 songs were submitted in the category, so barring a dramatic decline in the number of songs under consideration, the category should be able to field five nominees.

JUSTIN BIEBER PAPARAZZI CHASE: PHOTOGRAPHER TO FIGHT CHARGES

Justin Bieber was chased down the 101 Freeway last July by paparazzi trying to snap a picture of him in his car, a Fisker Karma. Bieber was then pulled over for driving recklessly, and in response, filed a harassment complaint against the main paparazzo for forcing him to drive the way he did. That man was Paul Raef, the first pap due to be charged under a new law that penalizes the paparazzi for driving dangerously in order to obtain photos of celebs for commercial purpose. Raef, who was charged with four misdemeanor counts, is challenging the law by stating his first amendment rights. Raef’s lawyers say the law is a violation of freedom of the press. According to PopSugar, the motion will go before a judge September 24th.

  • Photo of the Day: A Japanese Motorcycle That's Powered by Feces...and the Rider Sits On a Toilet...

    Posted by Justin Henriksen

We stumbled onto some photos this weekend that seem TOO ridiculous to be true.  Apparently in Japan, a company has created a motorcycle prototype that's powered by FECES.  And the motorcycle seat . . . is a FULL TOILET.

--The only disappointing part is that the toilet doesn't actually work.  The motorcycle is powered by a bio-fuel that's made from animal waste . . . NOT human waste.
