ADAM LEVINE TO JOIN AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Last fall, American Horror Story dominated the ratings as the biggest new cable series of the year. So what do fans have to look forward to next season? According to show creator Ryan Murphy, nothing remotely similar to last year. Season two will have a whole new setting and storyline, all revolving around completely new characters. One of these new figures comes in the form of Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Murphy shared with Rolling Stone that Levine’s new role will be “really gritty,” noting that he’ll play one half of a couple known as “The Lovers.” According to Ryan, the singer immediately accepted the role after hearing all the details.  Murphy explained, “I pitched him the part and he listened, slackjawed, and simply said, ‘I’m in.’”  Shooting is set to begin in July, just in time for a spooky, mid-October premiere.
