Snack or Treat...there is a Difference!

A small portion of food, that haven't been over processed, that provides nutrients and the good calories the body needs to help maintain between meals like: apples, carrot sticks or multi-grain crackers. The SNACK is the healthier choice!


An edible that usually contains lots of sugar and/or salt and empty calories between meals such as:  sandwich cookies, candy bars or donuts .  Treats often cause overeating of the wrong thing(s)!
