PETA POKES FUN AT TIGER! PETA gets their topical humor on in a new ad featuring Tiger Woods’ image. On the billboard, sponsored by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the organization has the text “Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing.” The ad then goes on to say that that goes for your pets too and urges owners of cats and dogs to spay and neuter their pets. BACHELOR CAST-OFF SEX TAPE? Rozlyn Papa made a name for herself on this season of The Bachelor by allegedly having an affair with a producer on the show and getting kicked off, and now, according to TMZ, someone is shopping around a sex tape starring Papa. A porn industry rep who claims to have seen the tape told TMZ, “It’s definitely Rozlyn,” and added that in it, she performs “one sexual act with a well-endowed gentleman.” Papa’s spokesperson stated the reality star has “no knowledge of any tape.”

CRYER SUPPORTS SHEEN! Jon Cryer is supporting his Two and a Half Men co-star, Charlie Sheen, as best he can. Sheen has checked himself into rehab so production on the series has come to a halt, causing some staffers to fear for their jobs. TMZ reports Cryer told employees, “The important thing is Charlie gets healthy.” Production is expected to resume in a couple of weeks.

KOENIG’S PARENTS WALK OUT ON LARRY KING! The parents of missing sitcom actor Andrew Koenig reportedly walked out before their appearance on Larry King Live this week because they claim they were being disrespected. TMZ.com reports that Star Trek star Walter Koenig said their interview time kept getting pushed back and there wouldn’t have been “enough time to do credit to what we had to say.” Their portion of the show was pre-empted by the breaking Sea World killer whale story and after 25 minutes, the Koenigs asked the live TV film crew to leave their Vancouver hotel room.

CONAN’S TWITTER SHOW! Conan O’Brien has joined the Twitter community and his first message was a plea for a job. His very first tweet on the social networking site was, “Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial. Somebody help me.” That was all it took for him to get a whopping 250-thousand followers in less than a day. In the meantime, rumors are circulating that Conan is planning a national tour.

EBERT ON OPRAH! Film critic Roger Ebert will be sitting down for his first televised interview since he lost his ability to speak – and it will be with none other than Oprah Winfrey. According to PerezHilton.com, Ebert will do the interview with the assistance of a text-to-speech computer program. It airs next week.

“PANTS ON THE GROUND” GOES TO VEGAS! The man who gained popularity for his song “Pants On the Ground” is Las Vegas bound. According to TMZ, Larry Platt from American Idol is scheduled to perform tonight at JET nightclub in the Mirage Hotel. In addition, Platt will fly first class and receive thousands of dollars for his big show. His rep confirmed this gig will be the first of many.

WHO IS REESE DATING? Is Reese Witherspoon dating a Hollywood agent? According to People.com, the actress is seeing agent Jim Toth, but a source tells the Web site that the pair are not “exclusive” and are taking it very slow. The insider goes on to say that Witherspoon, who split from ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal last year, is yet to show any serious PDA and that all kissing that’s been done has looked very friendly.

DROP OUT! The Hangover star Bradley Cooper has dropped out of the upcoming spy flick This Means War. According to Hollywood Insider, Cooper had to drop out of the movie, in which he was set to star opposite Reese Witherspoon, so he could film The Hangover 2.

GAGA AND RIHANNA TO TEAM UP?

Could we soon be seeing a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Rihanna? Well if it was up to the “Umbrella” singer we sure might. According to www.PerezHilton.com, Rihanna said that a duet between the two would be “really cool” and that she’s sure that the song would have “a hot video.” Ri-Ri also mentioned Taylor Swift as someone she could see herself working with.

Lady Gaga recently took an AIDS test and the pop star is urging all her fans to do the same. In an interview with www.MarieClaire.com, the “Bad Romance” singer said that because she’s on the road so much, she doesn’t often get to see the doctor as much as she’d like to, but since she had a couple of days off in New York City, she went to see her gynecologist and got tested.

JOHN MAYER MAKES A FAN’S DREAMS COME TRUE!

John Mayer’s been taking a lot of heat lately, but he’s not entirely a bad guy! The “Daughters” singer made an 11-year-old fan’s day when he pulled him up on stage to play the song “Belief,” gave the kid a guitar, and then told the crowd “that’s my man.” The child’s mother wrote a note to John’s management team, thanking the singer-songwriter and saying he made her son’s “dreams come true.” See the video on YouTube now.

CLAY AIKEN AT GAY-RIGHTS RALLY

Clay Aiken came out as gay just over a year ago, and now the former American Idol runner-up is speaking at a gay-rights rally in his hometown. According to the Associated Press, Aiken will be making a speech over the weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina, trying to urge Americans to support equal rights for all. Aiken also told the AP that it’s even more important to him now because he’s a parent and wants his son to grow up in a world where everyone is treated fairly.

THE PEAS AND COMPANY ROCK THE GARDEN

The Black Eyed Peas hit the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City Wednesday night. Just before the group performed, David Guetta stirred things up as a surprise guest. The DJ announced to the crowd that he arrived from Paris to make it to the concert. He cued up his Kelly Rowland-assisted song "When Love Takes Over" and walked off, still on his turntables, as a crew collected his equipment and pulled Guetta offstage while the music was still playing. Ludacris and LMFAO helped kick things off prior to that. The rowdy "I'm in Miami, Trick" party rockers did a brief set, including their hot track "Shots." Ludacris pulled out a number of hits throughout his set, from "Move" to "Stand Up." The Peas opened the show with “Let’s Get It Started” and steam-rolled through hits like “I Gotta Feeling,” “Boom Boom Pow” and their latest, “Imma Be.”

LILY ALLEN TO LEAVE MUSIC FOR FIVE YEARS

Lily Allen has been saying for a while that she intends to take a break from music after next month, and now the “Smile” singer explains that she could be gone for up to five years! Allen spoke at the NME Awards in England on Wednesday, saying that she will “maybe” make another album in five years, and wants to use this time to possibly have children. Learn more at www.NME.com.

MACY GRAY RETURNS WITH SELLOUT

Macy Gray is reportedly putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album, tentatively titled The Sellout. Fans can expect the GRAMMY Award-winner’s first disc in over three years to include collaborations with T.I., Bobby Brown, Slash, Duff McKagan and many others. In a statement, Gray revealed that the project “tells the story of how I found my salvation in just being myself instead of who other people thought I should be.” The LP will officially hit stores on May 8th.

AEROSMITH ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN TOUR

Well after a rocky patch, it seems all is well with Aerosmith. The band has announced their Cocked, Loaded and Ready to Rock Tour, which will take place overseas this summer. It kicks off on June 10th at the Sweden Rock Festival and runs through July 3rd when it wraps at Italy’s Venice Festival. No word yet if the guys will be playing in America this year but you can see a video of the band announcing the tour on YouTube. In it, singer Steven Tyler says, “I just auditioned and I got the gig,” referencing the fact that the band was considering new singers to replace him while he took time off. IDOL CASTOFF WON’T GIVE UP! American Idol producers booted Chris Golightly because of a previous contract he’d signed, rendering him ineligible to continue in the competition. Golightly has forcefully denied that the contract was still in place when he tried out for the reality show, and now his former manager, Lawrence Franklin of Dream Projects Entertainment, has released a statement and given an interview to The Los Angeles Times in which he disputes Golightly’s account and says the singer re-upped his contract with boy band Dream 5 in the spring of 2009, only months before his Idol tryout. Golightly held a press conference on Tuesday outside a Hollywood club where he again stated that his contract with Dream Projects Entertainment had ended prior to Idol.

IDOL BEATS THE OLYMPICS! FOX’s two-hour American Idol beat NBC’s coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics on Tuesday night. According to preliminary numbers from Nielsen, Idol averaged 24-million viewers overall, while the Olympics had 22.1-million viewers overall. ABC’s Lost scored just under ten-million viewers, up slightly from last week.

KIEFER OKAY’D FOR 24! After having an outpatient surgical procedure, Kiefer Sutherland has gotten the all-clear from his doctor to return to work. People reports that the actor had a ruptured cyst treated two weeks ago and he is expected back on the set March 1st.

LOST STAR CHEATS WITH STRIPPER? According to the National Enquirer, Lost star Matthew Fox is being accused of allegedly cheating on his wife with a stripper. Apparently, the actor hooked up with a 26-year-old woman named Stefani Talbott from Stars Cabaret club in Bend, Oregon. Further, a cab driver claims the pair were “kissing and hugging each other” in the back of his taxi just before dropping them off at Talbott’s place on December 29th. Fox has reportedly denied these claims.

MOVIE PIRATE GETS TWO YEARS! Robert Henderson, who pleaded guilty last October to recording The Dark Night at a movie theater and selling it on DVD, has been sentenced to two years in a federal prison. According to www.ContactMusic.com, the movie pirate will also have to pay a fine of nearly 25-thousand dollars. A spokesperson for the Motion Picture Association of America called the sentence “appropriate” and hopes it will “serve as a warning to would-be movie thieves.”

ESPN HOST SUSPENDED! Tony Kornheiser, co-host of the ESPN talk show Pardon The Interruption, has been suspended by the sports network due to comments deemed inappropriate about a female co-worker. According to the New York Post, Kornheiser insulted SportsCenter anchor Hannah Storm, saying that an outfit she was wearing made her look she had “sausage casing wrapping around her upper body.” Kornheiser then apologized for his comments on his radio show, but ESPN still announced that he is being suspended for two weeks

OLE MISS’ STAR WARS MASCOT! Ole Miss are known as the Rebels but the school plans to drop their old mascot, “Colonel Reb,” for something a little more updated. The student body voted on their favorite replacement and it is “Admiral Ackbar,” the Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance fleet from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. There is a popular fan page on Facebook called Can This Pickle Get More Fans than Nickelback. Well apparently it can, and frontman Chad Kroeger is none too pleased about it. www.PerezHilton.com is reporting that Chad himself wrote to Coral Anne, the founder of the group on the social networking site, threatening to close the page in two weeks. 3EB GUITARIST IS SUING THE BAND

Third Eye Blind guitarist Tony Fredianelli is suing the band. According to AbsolutePunk.net, the axe-man says that he wasn’t given song writing credit on four tunes on their latest album Ursa Major and that he hasn’t been able to collect any publishing money for his work on the record. MUSE IS UPSET

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme is upset that their new songs won’t be heard on free streaming services on the Internet. The British band is on Warner Music and that label has stated that their artists’ music will no longer be available on free streaming sites, as those sites are “not positive for the industry.” The Muse member told the BBC that denying streaming is like taking their songs off the radio. THE PEAS BRING LENNON TOUR BUS ON THE ROAD

According to www.Billboard.com, the Black Eyed Peas are taking the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus on the road. The bus is a non-profit mobile recording and multimedia studio that has joined the Peas’ tour until April 10th. Fergie recorded her hit "Fergalicious" and other solo songs on the mobile studio. It will not only serve as the official recording studio for the Peas, but will also be available for upcoming student projects in cities visited by the Peas while they tour. Lennon Bus on-board engineers will work with the students to help produce the projects. The students will then be granted access to see the Peas perform.

BIG ARTISTS ON THE HOT TUB TIME MACHINE SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack for the upcoming movie Hot Tub Time Machine, which features John Cusack and Craig Robinson, will be available on March 23rd, and it features some pretty big names. According to a press release, some of the bands and singers on the disc include Men Without Hats, INXS, David Bowie, the English Beat and even a version of “Jessie’s Girl” performed by The Office star Robinson. Hot Tub Time Machine hits theaters on March 26th.

REHAB FOR CHARLIE SHEEN! Charlie Sheen has entered rehab. The actor’s publicist told PerezHilton.com that Sheen decided to go as a “preventative measure” and he’ll be taking some time off from his hit show, Two and a Half Men. Sarah Palin’s daughter will appear as herself on the show and be in a scene when the characters head to a music program for teen mothers. 19-year-old Bristol has a one-year-old son named Tripp with her former boyfriend Levi Johnston. Bonnie Wright, better known as “Ginny Weasley” in the Harry Potter films, is dating Jamie Campbell Bower, an actor from the Twilight Saga: New Moon movie. The two worked together on the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film, but her beau is better known as the vampire “Caius.” Wright told www.People.com that they haven’t been trying to keep the relationship a secret, but they “didn’t go around telling everyone either.”

Though Prince William and Kate Middleton have been dating for nearly six years, the young royal continues to deflect questions about marriage. www.People.com reports he visited a military rehab center and a wounded soldier asked him about getting an invitation to the royal nuptials. KANSAS CITY ROYALS’ MASCOT SUED! The Kansas City Royals are being sued after their mascot, “Sluggerrr the Lion,” has been accused of poking out a fan’s eye with a hot dog during a Major League Baseball game last year. According to TMZ, the plaintiff claims he was struck in the left eye by one of the hot dogs that “Sluggerrr” was throwing into the crowd. He was left with a detached retina and cataracts soon developed. The man is seeking over 25-thousand dollars for negligence and battery.

A rep for Cornish confirmed the split to www.People.com, revealing that Abbie has moved out of the home the couple shared together. LINDSAY LOHAN TALKS COCAINE! Lindsay Lohan is coming clean about her cocaine use in the past. She said she tried cocaine because she was “stubborn, stupid and wanted to see what it was like.” Lohan went on to note that she is currently drug-free and only drinks alcohol occasionally. HILARY DUFF ENGAGED! Hilary Duff is engaged to her Edmonton Oilers boyfriend Mike Comrie. According to the Associated Press, the NHL star proposed to Duff while the two were vacationing in Hawaii last week. Hilary’s sister, Hayley Duff, told www.People.com that Hil was completely surprised and that it was done very romantically. The pair has been together for over two years. As yet, there is no word on when a wedding date will be set.

DOG WHISPERER’S DOG DIES. It’s sad day for dog lovers out there. Cesar Milan, star of the hit show The Dog Whisperer, had to say goodbye to his own pet. According to www.RadarOnline.com, Millan’s 16-year-old Pitbull Daddy passed away over the weekend. The dog had battled cancer and was featured on Cesar’s National Geographic series from time to time while undergoing treatment.

CHARLIE SHEEN’S WIFE OUT OF REHAB! According to TMZ, because of a security breach, Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, has checked herself out of the Malibu rehab facility she was staying in. Someone on the staff at The Canyon offered to sell an admissions document of Mueller’s to various press outlets and Sheen’s wife found out and is currently looking to check in to another facility. Brooke admitted herself to the rehab facility about a month ago for substance abuse.

TOP CHEF HOST WELCOMES BABY! www.People.com reports Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi has given birth to her first child. The 39-year-old reality TV star welcomed a healthy baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday. Her rep confirmed both “mother and baby are well and happy.” The identity of the father has not yet been disclosed.

STARS PLAY POKER FOR CHARITY! Over the weekend at the Venetian in Las Vegas, some celebrities and poker stars got together to play Texas Hold ‘Em for a good cause. The charity event was part of PokerStars.net’s North American Poker Tour and the likes of Brad Garrett, Jason Alexander, Christian Slater, Slash, Marlon Wayans, Donnie Wahlberg, Tony Hawk and Joanna Krupa went head-to-head with poker pros including Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker and Joe Cada. YOUNG OSCAR PRESENTERS! Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will all present at the 82nd Academy Awards. This will be Cyrus and Efron’s second appearance, and Lautner and Stewart’s debut on an Academy Awards telecast. The Oscars will be handed out on Sunday, March 7th at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California. The big show airs on ABC at 7 PM.

BRUCE WILLIS PREPS DIE HARD 5! Bruce Willis told MTV News that he is going to shoot Die Hard 5 next year. The project appears to be in the early phases, but Willis does have some ideas about the story and who should direct the flick. His first choice would be the man who last brought his iconic character, “John McClane,” to the big screen, Len Wiseman, who has not helmed a feature since 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard.

TAYLOR LAUTNER LANDS NEW FILM ROLE! According to Variety, Taylor Lautner has just landed a starring role in Abduction. In the upcoming thriller, the Twilight star portrays a young man who finds his baby picture posted on a missing persons Web site. Lautner is also scheduled to appear in the next installment of the Twilight franchise. In related news, fans can check out Taylor’s romantic comedy debut in the new movie Valentine’s Day.

COLDPLAY WILL RELEASE AN ALBUM IN 2010

Coldplay will release a new album in 2010. Frontman Chris Martin told Globo.com that he wants to release their new disc around Christmastime. Owl City singer Adam Young has been diagnosed with insomnia, but some people would make the case that that is a good thing. In fact, his hit “Fireflies” was written when he was “up late and in the basement…not really trying to write anything.” He went on about his insomnia, saying that as long as he gets “three to five hours” throughout the day, he’s usually good to go.

It’s being reported that he is going to ask his famous daughter to be a part of the fundraiser. Maybe this is the career change Lily has been looking for, as she keeps saying that she’ll be retiring from music next month.

Over the weekend in Arizona, Rihanna’s unofficial boyfriend, L-A Dodger Matt Kemp, threw her a surprise birthday party that included a dance performance from a porn star named Bridget The Midget. TMZ has obtained footage from Ri Ri’s 22nd birthday bash, where the little person puts on a show to the singer’s hit single “Hard.” In addition, Kemp gave Rihanna “an amazing diamond necklace” and her cake was decorated with all of her signature tattoos.

NICK JONAS BATTLE OF THE BANDS CAMPAIGN

Nick Jonas has signed on as the face of a new Vh1 Save The Music Battle of the Bands campaign, which encourages teens nationwide to submit videos to www.DoSomething.org featuring their own musical performances and a testimonial about why music education matters to them. Nick spoke about the campaign saying, "Music inspires creativity and keeps kids in school. But there are thousands of students who do not have access to the benefits of music education. Don't let our music be silenced." The six week campaign will run from March 1st through April 16th. A panel of expert and celebrity judges will then evaluate the entries based on musicality, creativity, strength of argument, number of votes, use of social media and overall participation. The grand prize winner will receive a five-thousand dollar grant for their school music program and will be flown to New York City to perform at the Apollo Theater before music executives. Additional winners will be selected to receive up to one-thousand dollars for their school music programs, concert tickets and Rock Band video games. Additionally, DoSomething.org and the Vh1 Save the Music Foundation will present videos of the most compelling testimonials and performances to members of Congress, urging them to keep music in schools.

Chicken & Vegetable Pasta Alfredo

This is just my way of making something great and easy.

6 oz or more of sliced chicken

1 large zucchini

1 large yellow squash

12 or more grape/cherry tomatoes

1 jar favorite Alfredo Sauce

2 green onions, chopped

4-5 stalks asparagus, cut into fourths

1 tbsp garlic, crushed

parsley

Penne Pasta

Saute zucchini, yellow squash, onions, asparagus, and garlic in olive oil (not too much, just coat the pan) on medium heat. (Until vegetables are glossy, but still somewhat crisp)

Heat almost entire jar on medium heat until hot

Cook pasta, usually 1/2 to 3/4 box (I use Barilla)

Drain pasta, add to large bowl, add chicken, vegetables, tomatoes (uncut), alfredo sauce, stir, then sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Andy and I just love this recipe.  Tastes fresh and rich!  I would definitely make this again!!
