TROUBLED COUPLE? According to the New York Daily News, there may be trouble in paradise for Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts. Schreiber just flew to Tahiti and sources told the newspaper that one of the purposes for the trip is so Liev can reflect on his relationship with Watts. The pair has been dating for five years and has two sons together.

Forbes has just released their annual Celebrity 100 Power List, and some of the biggest names in music have made the top ten. Beyonce and Lady Gaga both finished in the top five, with B at number two making 87-million, and Gaga not far behind in fourth with 62-mil. Also in the top ten were Britney Spears and U2, who were in sixth and seventh place respectively. The ten spot went to Madonna.

NO GAGA SENDS VIDEO MESSAGE TO TEEN

Constance McMillen, the girl who made national headlines when her school wouldn’t let her take her girlfriend to prom, has a fan in Lady Gaga. The pop star posted a video message to Constance via Ok Magazine, saying that Constance is one of the “Bad Romance” singer’s “most favorite little monsters.”

JOHN MAYER TAKES ANOTHER STAB AT COMEDY

John Mayer is apparently a pretty funny guy. The singer-songwriter took the stage late last week at the Comedy Cellar in New York City for the first time since he tried it out four years ago and made some racially insensitive comments. According to the New York Daily News, Mayer did much better this time, even making a joke about dating Kate Hudson. A source told the paper that Mayer “was really nervous right before he went on and kept checking over his notes that he brought onstage,” but that he did a good job overall.

A NEW NICKELBACK GAME

There’s a new Nickelback game available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. It’s from the makers of Tap Tap Revenge and it’s fittingly called Nickelback Revenge. On it, you can play some of the band’s biggest songs, including “You Remind Me,” “Photograph” and more. It costs just under five-dollars, and you can get it at the app store now.

MADONNA’S FORMER TRAINER TALKS

Madonna and longtime trainer Tracy Anderson parted ways a little while back, and apparently Anderson doesn’t regret that one bit. She told Britain’s Star magazine that days of her focusing on one celebrity are “gone” and that she thinks Madonna is amazing, but that the work is “not sustainable,” so she doesn’t miss it.

SOCCER BABY?! People magazine is reporting that American World Cup soccer star Landon Donovan may have a love child. The outlet says that a British woman has come forward claiming she is pregnant with Donovan’s child. Landon is currently separated from his wife Bianca Kajlich, but the pair is not divorced. DOUGLAS FIGHTS FOR WALL STREET MONEY! Michael Douglas’ ex-wife Diandra is claiming that she’s entitled to 50 percent of the money Michael earned making Wall Street 2, the sequel to the 1987 hit movie Wall Street. People that attended Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball over the weekend got quite the treat. Lady Gaga performed a brand new song live for the very first time. It’s called “You and I,” and the pop star wrote on her Twitter that the tune was written in New York City using the piano that she “grew up on.”

DAUGHTRY GETS PERSONAL ABOUT “SEPTEMBER”

Chris Daughtry got personal about his songwriting over the weekend. The former American Idol contestant wrote on his Twitter account that he heard his band’s song “September” on the radio, and that it’s the “most excited” that he’s ever been to hear one of their tunes on the air. He also wrote that as a songwriter, it’s the track that he’s “most proud of.”

SHERYL CROW BRINGS SON ON STAGE

Sheryl Crow turned her set at Lilith Fair on Sunday in Canada into a family affair. During the performance of her hit song “Every Day is a Winding Road,” the singer-songwriter brought her three-year-old son Wyatt on stage. According to Contact Music, he wore protective-headphones and danced along by his mother’s side.

BIG NAMES AT THE VH1 DO SOMETHING AWARDS

The line-up for the Vh1 Do Something Awards has just been announced. According to a press release, the show will feature performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Lifehouse and Travie McCoy with Bruno Mars. The show is going to be hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch, and celebrates five young people that are doing their best to try and change the world for the better. The Do Something Awards air live from Los Angeles on Monday, July 19th at 8 PM on Vh1.

THE EDGE PERFORMS WITH MUSE

There were tons of special guests at the Glastonbury Festival in England over the weekend and U2 guitarist The Edge was one of them. The famous axeman played alongside Muse during their set and fans can see pics now at www.U2.com. Edge even performed the iconic first few chords of “Where The Streets Have No Name.” U2 were scheduled to play the event but had to pull out after Bono underwent emergency back surgery.

BLACK EYED PEAS STAY STRONG

Rumors began swirling over the weekend that Fergie and will.i.am had been feuding. There were also reports that the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie would be parting ways. Will.i.am squashed the rumors on Twitter writing: "Don't believe gossip about Fergie leaving the group (we are never breaking up) it's all lies!!!" Will also said the band is a family and they are not going anywhere.

BRANDON FLOWERS ON GOING SOLO

On September 14th, Brandon Flowers will release his first ever solo album, but Killers fans want to know why the singer has decided to go alone for this one. He told Rolling Stone, “This isn’t about getting attention or proving something, it’s just what I’m accustomed to doing.” So will it sound like The Killers? Flowers says no adding, “These songs have an isolation to them that Killers records don’t have. MEL GIBSON FILES RESTRAINING ORDER! Mel Gibson has even more drama in his life. According to www.PerezHilton.com, the actor has filed a temporary restraining order against his daughter Lucia’s mother, Oksana Grigorieva. No word as to why Gibson felt the need to get the restraining order, but Oksana recently said she’d soon be revealing details of their “sudden” break-up.

WESLEY SNIPES TAX TROUBLE! Actor Wesley Snipes’ former financial advisor, Ken Starr, was arrested and charged with fraud earlier this month and Snipes is hoping that Starr’s arrest will keep him out of jail. HAMILTON GETS A REALITY SHOW! George Hamilton is the latest celebrity developing a reality show. The tanned actor is creating what The Hollywood Reporter calls a “docusoap.” The series, which is described as a real-life Two and a Half Men, would chronicle Hamilton’s life with his older son Ashley and his younger son George. It’ll air on TV Land but no word yet on when the show will premiere.

‘80s POP STARS IN A NEW SYFY MOVIE

Hold onto your 1980’s hat, because this story might just blow you away. Pop rivals Debbie Gibson, who had a hit song with “Foolish Beat” in 1988, and Tiffany, who’s 1987 pop smash was called “I Think We’re Alone Now,” will both star in a new Syfy channel movie called Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (Yes, that’s the made-for-TV movie’s real title). Debbie will play an over-enthusiastic animal-rights activist, while Tiffany will play a park ranger in the flick. BLINK-182 RECORDING NEW ALBUM THIS FALL

According to bassist Mark Hoppus, Blink-182 will begin recording a new album in September. Hoppus announced the news via his website, www.HiMyNameisMark.com. He says they won’t be playing any more live shows in 2010 after their appearance at the Epicenter Twenty Ten on September 25th and 26th as they will be recording the follow-up to 2003’s self-titled album.

COLEMAN HAD RESTRAINING ORDER! According to People magazine, Gary Coleman tried to get a restraining order against his ex-wife, Shannon Price, just three months before he died. According to the papers, Coleman accused Price of trespassing on his property while he was in the hospital recovering from heart surgery. Just three months later, Price was the person who made the decision to take Coleman off life support.

RYAN SEACREAST’S NEW GIRL? According to People magazine, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Dancing With the Stars pro Julianne Hough are in a relationship. A source told the outlet that the pair is perfect for each other and have been spending a lot of time together but for the moment, the duo is trying to keep their relationship quiet.

THE SITUATION CLOTHING! Jersey Shore cast member The Situation is working on his own clothing line. According to the New York Post, the new line will be a “couture line of high-quality wearable art” and boy are we excited to see the threads. HUDSON GOES PUBLIC WITH NEW GUY! Kate Hudson has gone public with the new guy in her life, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy. According to the New York Post, the actress and the musician were making out in a New York City restaurant and were holding hands. Hudson last dated New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez.

NEWCOMER FOR FOOTLOOSE! A newcomer to Hollywood is getting his big break in the remake of Footloose. Unknown actor Kenny Wormald has beat out everyone else to take on Kevin Bacon’s role in the remake. Zac Efron, Chace Crawford and other well-known actors were previously tied to the role. WILL GAGA’S TOUR INCLUDE HUMAN CORPSES?

In a story published earlier this week in British tabloid The Sun, the newspaper reported that Lady Gaga has reached out to Gunther von Hagens, a controversial anatomist who invented a technique for preserving cadavers called plastination and is responsible for the popular traveling exhibition Body Worlds. The Sun quoted "a friend" of Gaga as saying "she is fascinated by Gunther's work and life... and is keen to have some Body Worlds element in one of her shows." The source went on to say that Gaga is aiming to incorporate von Hagens' work into her tour by the time it gets to Las Vegas, which doesn't happen until March of 2011.

DAVE MATTHEWS SAVES THE MOUNTAINS!

Dave Matthews performed with an all-star cast at the National Resources Defense Council’s Music Saves Mountains concert in Nashville, Tennessee last month. The NRDC caught up with Matthews backstage and he talked about how defending the environment is becoming our greatest call to arms. Matthews explained the Appalachian Mountains are like no other place on the planet.

KELLY CLARKSON RECORDS DUET!

Kelly Clarkson started recording her fifth album this week. The singer took to Twitter to announce that the sessions have begun. She also mentioned that she recorded “an awesome duet,” but did not say who her guest vocalist was on the track. Kelly Clarkson joins the Lilith Fair in Denver, Colorado on July 13th. KATY PERRY GETS 17 STICHES

According to the New York Post, Katy Perry needed 17 stitches after a mysterious injury in Toronto over the weekend. On Sunday, she performed at the MuchMusic Awards, but somehow got hurt dancing at a local club. She posted yesterday on Twitter, "17 stitches later . . . Don't make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That's what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir, Canada)!" Perry didn't say where or how she got hurt.

JESSICA SIMPSON PREVIEWS NEW JEANSWEAR LINE

USA Today is reporting that Jessica Simpson and her mother Tina gave a sneak peek at Jessica's new line of Jessica Simpson Jeanswear at a New York City showroom yesterday. Jess announced the jeans would sell for between 20 and 24 dollars.

DEF LEPPARD HOPE TO SOUND MORE RAW

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen is talking about what the band is up to. The rocker told MusicRadar.com that they’re getting some new songs together because they want to release a CD next year then tour behind it. BUSH IS BACK

Bush are finally back. Gavin Rossdale revealed to KROQ in Los Angeles that the band will release their first album in nine years this fall. The record is titled Everything Always Now and its first single is a track called “Afterlife.” Bush are set to play their first live show in eight years at the Epicenter weekend in Fontana, California on September 25th and 26th.

BACHELOR BREAK-UP! The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka and the woman he chose on the show, Vienna Girardi, have called off their engagement. The media friendly couple’s rep issued a statement asking for privacy at this time. According to E! Online, this brings the total of failed Bachelor pairings up to 13.

CELEBS HELP THE GULF COAST! On Monday night, celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Justin Bieber, Robert Redford, Ryan Seacrest and others were at CNN to help raise money for the Gulf Coast. The stars held a two hour telethon hosted by Larry King called Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help, where they asked for America’s support to raise money for the Gulf Coast. TRUE BLOOD WILL BE BACK! The hit HBO series True Blood will be back for another season. The channel has renewed their vampire series for a 12-episode fourth season. According to a press release, production on the new season will begin early next year with fans getting to see the new season next summer. Tune in to HBO this Sunday to see a new episode of True Blood at 9 PM.

LADY GAGA FINISHED WITH NEXT ALBUM

There are not a lot of details out there about what Lady Gaga’s next album will sound like, but she says it's already finished. She told Rolling Stone magazine that she’s been working on the effort for months and that she feels very strongly that the album is finished. The record won’t be released until early in 2011, but Gaga added that she plans on announcing the title of the album at midnight on New Year’s Eve. The 24-year-old said she’ll also get a tattoo of the album cover and send out a photo of the artwork. Gaga graces the latest cover of Rolling Stone magazine wearing a bra constructed from machine guns, a thong and her signature heel-less hot pink "Bad Romance" shoes.

GAGA TOPS LIST OF LA SHOWS!

Lady Gaga is the number one requested concert in Los Angeles, according to www.Stubhub.com. The website compiled a list of the top five most requested tickets in the Los Angeles-metropolitan area. Gaga tops the list, followed by Muse, Roger Waters, Dave Matthews Band and Justin Bieber.

KATY PERRY WANTS RIHANNA TO STRIP!

Katy Perry and Rihanna have been palling around since last year - but now Perry hopes the two will become even closer. According to the New York Daily News, Perry told a Chicago radio station that she wants Rihanna to strip for her at her upcoming bachelorette party. Perry added that she hopes RiRi would be willing to go completely nude for her pre-wedding festivities.

DAVID ARCHULETA TO PERFORM AT A CAPITOL FOURTH

2008 American Idol runner-up David Archuleta and Darius Rucker will perform at the annual July Fourth holiday concert in Washington. According to The Associated Press, A Capitol Fourth will be broadcast live from the West Lawn of the Capitol at 7 PM on PBS stations. Actor Jimmy Smits is hosting the event. Reba McEntire, Gladys Knight and the National Symphony Orchestra are also scheduled to perform. Archuleta will sing the National Anthem at the event. The program is celebrating its 30th anniversary on the air. It will end with a 17-minute fireworks show.

BRET MICHAELS’ HATS ARE POPULAR

The cowboy hats that Bret Michaels wore during his appearances on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice have shot up in popularity. Diva Amy Skaling, who designed the custom hats, has orders pouring into her studio. While fans want to get Bret’s look by buying his black hat with feathers and a Harley-Davidson spark plug, most orders are for the rocker’s white cowboy hat with a black Roman cross. To pay homage to the Poison singer, as a sign of appreciation, Diva Amy is donating ten percent from the sales of Bret’s hats to the Bret Michaels Foundation, which funds the American Diabetes Foundation. LOHAN DIDN’T DRINK! On June 6th, the night of the MTV Movie Awards, Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol monitoring bracelet went off, leading authorities to believe she had consumed alcohol. So apparently, like she claimed all along, her bracelet malfunctioned and she hadn’t had anything to drink.

HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME! Oprah Winfrey, Penelope Cruz and The Muppets are just some of the celebrities being giving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. According to the Associated Press, music artists Rascal Flatts, Melissa Etheridge and will.i.am will be honored with a star in 2011 as well.

CELEB COUPLE NEWS! The OC actress Rachel Bilson and Star Wars alum Hayden Christensen are taking a break. The pair got engaged back in February 2009, but this past week, Bilson was seen rocking a ring-less finger at an L-A red carpet and Us Magazine is reporting the duo are taking a month break.

SOPRANOS STAR DUI! According to TMZ, Joseph Gannascoli, who played “Vito Spatafore” on The Sporanos, was arrested late last week and charged on suspicion of driving under the influence. Joe was pulled over in Tampa, Florida after cops noticed he was driving erratically. He posted bond and was released the same day.

WILL.I.AM TO GET STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

According to The Associated Press, will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The L-A native will be the fourth hip-hop act to receive the honor. Diddy received a star two years ago. As yet, no date has been set for the ceremony. Other people set to get stars include Oprah Winfrey, Penelope Cruz, Rascal Flatts, Melissa Etheridge and The Muppets.
