A racing cow?? WHAT?!?!?

When a 15-year-old (in Germany) was told that she couldn't have a horse, instead of being upset about it, she taught a cow named Luna to do all the things a horse can do.

Through training and treats, the cow can do jumps over hurdles and go for rides in the countryside.

The girl started training the cow two years ago by taking her for walks in the woods while wearing a halter. Then, she got the cow more accustomed to human contact and equipment. Six months later, it was time to try riding her.

At first she walked normally, but after a while, the cow wanted the girl off.

The two are now soul mates. Their extensive routine involves grooming, petting, jumps and a roughly one-hour ride.

The girl says cows are lovable companions because they are easy-going and devoted.

(BTW: She still has hopes of getting a horse, but even when that day comes, she says that Luna will stay her darling.)
