State fairs around the country are trying new fair foods hoping to find a new hit this year.
In Wisconsin, it could be deep fried butter.
Officials with the Wisconsin State Fair said chefs describe the concoction as pure butter, deep fried with a crisp coating. It will be sold at the Machine Shed booth at this year's fair.
Plus, they'll be offering a 'Best of the Fair' combination platter, which includes the deep fried butter, a Krispy Kreme cheeseburger and a stick of chocolate-covered bacon.
A big fair hit this year: fried Kool-Aid.
Friedkoolaid.com lists the recipe as:

2 Cups of Milk
1/4 Cup of Sugar
