Trace Adkins loses home in fire..

A fire destroyed Trace Adkins' Brentwood, Tenn. home.

GONE are all of his music awards and his family's possessions.

Trace and wife Rhonda called the once-beautiful 5,000-square-foot mansion home for almost 11 years, she said. Now, it is a total loss.

Two of the couple’s children were in the house when the fire started — the youngest, ages 9 and 6 — along with houseguests who were looking after them. Everyone made it out safely, including the family pets.

Rhonda Adkins is sad, but says:  “You can replace things, not people. I’m just glad that my children are safe.

“I’m sad because we lost irreplaceable things like all Trace’s awards and our family photos.”

She was about three minutes away from the house when she saw the smoke and a neighbor called to say: “Your house is on fire!”

By the time she got there, "the house was fully engulfed”.

Trace Adkins was on a plane to Alaska Saturday afternoon...

He will be back in Nashville this week for the CMA Music Festival. He is scheduled to take the stage at LP Field Saturday night.

Rhonda Adkins said the family plans to stay at their farm in Eagleville.
