Rosie O’Donnell should have known that she’d never be allowed to look skinnier than Oprah. Ever.
That would just be blasphemous.
Winfrey is joined by Rosie O’Donnell, the newest addition to her The Oprah Winfrey Network, for the cover of the October issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, which profiles breakthrough visionaries in different fields. Winfrey interviews the controversial former View pundit, about moving from her home in New York to Chicago, where she assume her latest roles as an OWN talk-show host live from Harpo Studios (home of The Oprah Winfrey Show for a quarter century…)
Sounds innocent enough, but dramah broke out when Rosie caught sight of the final cover; which sees the Queen of Talk looking as thin and glamorous as ever in an evening gown, while O’Donnell looks dorky, crappy, and chubby in combat boots and a stage curtain for a skirt.
Perhaps not surprisingly, that didn’t go over well. Now Rosie is all peeved off about it.
Loose-lipped informants tell The National Enquirer that the Emmy winner thinks she was used as a prop to make her new boss look skinny, and that Oprah received the Photoshop treatment while Rosie missed out.
“Rosie is upset because she worked hard to make herself look good and get back into shape for ‘The Rosie Show,’ and this cover just makes her look terrible –especially standing next to Oprah, who is clearly slimmed down through the miracle computer technology.”
Apparently what makes Rosie even angrier is that in real life, Oprah is heavier than she is.
I really think this is ridiculous..I never once looked at this Cover and thought "WOW, Oprah is skinnier than Rosie"? I looked at it and thought "WOW, Rosie should be glad Oprah is giving her another chance at a television show"
