Cops in Wichita, Kansas stopped and fined a man for driving a truck covered in 900 Christmas lights.

The man says it took him almost 16 hours to deck his ride with the lights and the 8,000 watt generator that powers them.

He decorated his truck for the holiday season to help raise awareness and money for his charity that encourages acts of kindness.

The police weren’t impressed by his hard work and fined him $300, claiming that the lights went against road safety laws.

Despite his fine, the man says that he’s still not ready to take the lights down just yet.
