FDA MAY BAN ALCOHOLIC ENERGY DRINKS
The federal government may move to ban alcoholic energy drinks this week.
Some states have already banned the drinks after several college students in Washington were sent to the hospital after drinking them.
New York Sen. Chuck Schumer says the Food and Drug Administration is expected to find that caffeine is an unsafe food additive to alcoholic drinks, essentially banning them.
