CHARLES BARKLEY BRINGS HIS WISDOM (AND ORIGINAL LINGO) TO NCAA COVERAGE
Charles Barkley and other big names from TNT's NBA broadcasts will be part of the NCAA tournament coverage starting this season.
Marv Albert will call some early round games and Barkley and Kenny Smith will do analysis from the studio.
The news was expected, since CBS and Turner Sports signed a 14-year, $10.8 billion deal back in April.
Tournament games will air on CBS and three of Turner's cable channels: TNT, TBS and truTV.
CBS will still broadcast the Final Four each year through 2015, so the team of Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg will keep calling the national semifinal and championship games. A third person may join the crew.
