Willie Nelson celebrated his latest marijuana arrest by calling for a new political party called the Teapot Party.
Willie said: "There's the Tea Party. How about the Teapot Party? Our motto: We lean a little to the left. Tax it, regulate it and legalize it. And stop the border wars over drugs. Why should the drug lords make all the money? Thousands of lives will be saved."
Willie even started his own Teapot Party Facebook page!
JAIL TIME FOR WILLIE?
Willie Nelson could face some serious jail time ...
He was busted over the weekend in Texas for possession of six ounces of marijuana. A criminal defense attorney in Austin says 6 ounces could get Willie 6 months minimum and 2 years max.
But Bruce Margolin, director of the L.A. chapter of NORML, says all Willie needs to do is convince a jury he just forgot that the California-grown pot was on the bus -- and California is ok with medical marijuana.
