(WOW!)...BLIND MAN BOWLED A PERFECT GAME!

A man (Ron Gooch) from Morris, Illinois recently bowled a perfect game-- and the 52 year old is legally blind!
He has been blind since childhood. He spent decades fine-tuning his skills as a competitive bowler. A few weeks ago, he rolled 12 strikes in a row.
Only 10 other legally blind bowlers have been known to have rolled a perfect game in the US.
(The man was born with nystagmus, which means his eyes move involuntarily. That left him with such blurred vision that he is legally blind.)
He's not completely blind. What a person with standard vision can see from 200 feet away, he can see from about 20 feet away.
He said that trying to see down a 60-foot bowling lane "is like trying to look into a flashlight."
