NBA BANS ITS FIRST PAIR OF SHOES
For the first time in its 64-year history, the NBA has banned a new line of shoes because they can give a player an "unfair competitive advantage".
Apparently, the shoes increase a player's vertical leap.
The shoes are Athletic Propulsion Labs' Concept 1. Their Load ‘N Launch Technology is the real deal, but no professional player will be allowed to wear the shoes in games for the upcoming 2010-2011 NBA season.
