A father of three from Hugo, Minnesota is the new voice of Aflac.
36 year old Dan McKeague was chosen to take over the role for comedian Gilbert Gottfried who was fired. Dan's first commercial debuted online yesterday.
Aflac fired Gottfried in March for making jokes on Twitter about the Japan earthquake and tsunami. Gottfried apologized the next day. Japan is Aflac's most important market.
McKeague beat 12,500 people for the job. (He is a sales manager for Minneapolis radio stations.)
