A VOICE-ACTIVATED CAR STEREO THAT PLAYS WHATEVER YOU TELL IT TO.... AND DOWNLOADS APPS

There's a voice-activated car stereo that will play whatever you tell it to from a selection of millions of songs.

The Parrot Asteroid is also the first in-car music system that can download apps. It uses Google's Android mobile phone software, and is set to go on sale in a few weeks.

The system will cost around the same as a normal car stereo. Its ability to download apps means there's access to online music services like Spotify.

The voice-activation feature lets users tell the stereo what they want to listen to, and a scroll wheel can move through menus.
