NBC's NFL announcing team of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are the least talkative booth in the NFL.
A study by The Count analyzed the first 15 minutes of every game from Week 1 to see which booths were the most and least chatty.
The CBS team of Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots were the most talkative with 189 words-per-minute. Michaels and Collinsworth had 137.
Harlan was the chattiest play-by-play man with 121 words-per-minute, while Kenny Albert was the quietest at 56. Daryl Johnston had the most words per minute of any color man with 99.
CBS has a chattier broadcasting team than FOX. Of the top nine wordiest teams, CBS had six. FOX had four of the bottom five teams.
