48 YEAR-OLD HERSCHEL HERSCHEL WALKER PLANNING AN NFL COMEBACK...?

48 year-old Herschel Walker is talking about an NFL comeback.

He turns 49 on March 3. And he says, "If I continue to stay in the shape I'm in now, I know I can play when I'm 50."

The ex-running back added, "Right now, if you asked me if I can play today, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind I can play football, that I can help a team out".

"I can 100 percent guarantee you I can help a football team out."

After not playing for 13 years, Herschel said:  "I want to be the George Foreman of football".

Walker spoke to reporters during a conference call promoting a Mixed Martial Arts event in which he'll participate.
 
And he has his eyes on two teams he would like to play for: the Vikings and the Falcons, although he added he would be more partial toward Atlanta because that's home for him.
