OLD GUY ATTACKED BY RABID FOX WHILE PLAYING GOLF

 A 76-year-old guy in Hickory, N.C. man was attacked by a rabid fox while play golf.

He was playing golf with friends at a Country Club Golf Course when the fox came out of the woods and attacked him, biting him on the bottom part of his leg. His pals began beating the fox with their golf clubs, eventually killing the animal.
 
The fox was sent for testing and results came back positive for rabies.  The man has since begun rabies treatments at an area medical facility.
