A man took a bus from Wisconsin to Tennessee, climbed a fence at Taylor Swift's home and then told police he was there to surprise a woman on her birthday.

He's in jail for trespassing.

Taylor was overseas at the time.

The $2.5 million house was bought last year by a trustee who has handled property deals for Taylor Swift in the past.

The 24-year-old man claimed he was in contact with a person at the home through "social media" and that it was her birthday and he wanted to surprise her. He also said he was dating her.

The guy will be in court soon.
