"Sirvana" struck again on "Saturday Night Live" when Paul McCartney and the surviving members of Nirvana performed their new collaboration, "Cut Me Some Slack".
The band debuted the collaboration at "The Concert For Sandy Relief".
The words "Sound City" were also seen on top of an amplifier during the performance. It was a reminder that "Cut Me Some Slack" will appear on the soundtrack to Grohl's upcoming "Sound City" documentary.
The studio version of "Cut Me Some Slack" is also available for download on iTunes.
McCartney also performed "My Valentine," from his recent "Kisses on the Bottom" set. He played with a grand piano in front of him and the Eagles' Joe Walsh by his side for a guitar solo.
