WINNER ON A TED NUGENT REALITY SHOW FEELS SCAMMED

A man from Tennessee is still waiting for his payoff more than year after he won his reality show contest hosted by Ted Nugent.

The guy grew up fishing and camping and always wanted to be a country music star so he thought it was a perfect fit to compete on an outdoor survival show hosted by Nugent called "Runnin' Wild…From Ted Nugent". In the show, contestants display survival skills.

When the guy signed the contract, it didn't specify any prizes, but the producers of the show told him, "don't worry about it." He thought it was a little odd that the prizes weren't announced before the show, but he had seen that previous winners had "cleaned up."

When he got on location for the show, he had no doubt it was a big-time production. When it was all over, he was the big winner. All that was left was getting the prize, but even producers couldn't even tell him what the prize was, just that he was "going to be blown away."

About a year later, the show still hadn't aired, and the guy's emails about the prize went unanswered. He then got a Facebook message from a fan who said they had just seen him competing on CMT. What his fans didn't know was that all he got for his win was a set of bleached antlers.

According to the executive producer for CMT, no prize was ever promised on behalf of the network. Winning contestants were simply proclaimed "winners" by Ted Nugent himself.
