Lady Gaga told her fans she's "heartsick" that she will have to postpone four shows because of an injury that has left her unable to walk.
Shows set for February 13-14 in Chicago, February 16th in Detroit and February 17th in Canada, have been postponed.
Gaga went on Twitter to explain she injured herself during a performance a while ago and her condition got worse and left her unable to move. She had been hiding the injury from her staff, but now she can't perform at all.
Gaga wrote: "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now, over the last month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal".
No word on her exact 'injury'.
The rest of the "Born This Way Ball" tour is expected to continue on schedule, beginning with a two-night stand in Philadelphia February 19-20. Makeup dates for the missed shows will be announced later.
