According to a report in Sports Business Daily, the NFL is considering having next year's Super Bowl on a Saturday if bad weather is expected.

Football's next 'big hame' will be held outside, at Metlife Stadium in the New York/New Jersey area.

A league plan includes moving the game a day earlier, which would be great for people who need a day to recover from eating and drinking. On the other hand, it would be awful for fans traveling to and from the game with plane reservations.

A typical snowstorm wouldn't cause the change, but a weather crisis like a nor'easter would.
