Here's where the 12 playoff teams are headed over the next two weeks.
AFC
First Round Byes
(1) Denver Broncos (13-3)
Will host lowest remaining seed, Saturday, January 12, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS
The Broncos will have the edge of altitude and a month free of travel after winning homefield advantage following their 38-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
(2) New England Patriots (12-4)
Will host highest remaining seed, Sunday January 13, 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS
Tom Brady and the Patriots will host at least one game at Gillette Stadium in the playoffs and get a well-needed rest after beating Miami 28-0 to secure the AFC's second seed.
Wild Card Round
(6) Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) at (3) Houston Texans (12-4)
Saturday, January 5, 4:30 p.m. ET, NBC
The Texans had two opportunities to claim home field advantage through the playoffs and whiffed on both of them. Now they host the Bengals, who roll into the playoff rematch with a three-game winning streak.
(5) Indianapolis Colts (11-5) at (4) Baltimore Ravens (10-6)
Sunday, January 6, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
The Colts and head coach Chuck Pagano will travel to Baltimore to face his former team next weekend.
NFC
First Round Byes
1) Atlanta Falcons (13-3)
Will host lowest remaining seed, Sunday January 13, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
The NFC South champs clinched a first-round bye and homefield advantage through the NFC playoffs, but may have lost defensive end John Abraham in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.
2) San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1)
Will host highest remaining seed, Saturday, January 12, 8 p.m. ET, FOX
The 49ers win over Arizona combined with Green Bay's last second loss means San Francisco will get a week off before hosting a divisional playoff in two weeks.
Wild Card Round
(6) Minnesota Vikings (10-6) at (3) Green Bay Packers (11-5)
Saturday, January 5, 8 p.m. ET, NBC
It's the rematch! After an epic 37-34 battle in Minneapolis, the scene switches to what's likely to be a frigid Lambeau Field as these teams face off for the third time this season, this time in the Wild Card round.
(5) Seattle Seahawks (11-5) at (4) Washington Redskins (9-6)
Sunday, January 6, 4:30 p.m. ET, FOX
The Seahawks' 20-13 win over St. Louis didn't end up making a difference seeding wise after San Francisco's victory over Arizona, so Seatlle will leave the friendly confines of Qwest Field and travel to either Washington next Sunday.
