Charlie Sheen says he spent a "wild night" partying with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. 

Villaraigosa, a possible future candidate for Calif. governor, and/or president of the United States, tells a different story.

The Mayor claimed the two had a simple three-minute meeting after Sheen tweeted a photo of them arm-in-arm in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Sheen wrote, the mayor "knows how to party."

But Sheen says they hung out for the better part of two hours, discussing several things. 

The actor added "and he can drink with the best of 'em: Me."
