NEW MUSIC: SNOW PATROL HAVE 12 SONGS “IN THE BAG” FOR NEXT ALBUM
Although Snow Patrol just released their new album, Fallen Empires, a few months ago, singer Gary Lightbody says the band is already working on new material. Drummer Jonny Quinn told Billboard that the group has 12 songs “in the bag” for their next record and said, "We'll go back and they might or might not make it, but I'm sure there'll be two or three that'll be on the record. We've got a lot to choose from there. When we get off the road we'll write a bit more and make some decisions then." We’ll be sure to keep you posted on their progress.
DEMI LOVATO ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR!
Demi Lovato announced a 21-date North American tour which will kick off in Del Mar, California on June 12th. Hot Chelle Rae and Owl City will join the singer on select dates of the trek. The outing will hit Boston, Toronto, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Los Angeles and other cities across the country. The tour wraps September 1st in Salem, Oregon.

MADONNA TO KICK OFF TOUR ON MAY 31ST
Madonna will kick off her MDNA Tour on Thursday, May 31st at Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel, two days later than previously scheduled, due to production delays. All tickets dated May 29th will be honored at the rescheduled show. Maddy has announced 76 concert dates throughout Europe and North America. She has sold out shows in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Istanbul, Philadelphia, Boston, New York and elsewhere.
LADY ANTEBELLUM’S HENRYVILLE BALL TICKETS ON SALE TODAY
Tickets for Lady Antebellum’s May 16th benefit show in Louisville, Kentucky go on sale today (4/27) through Ticketmaster. The Rebuilding Henryville Charity Ball will help raise money for tornado relief efforts in Henryville, Indiana. The trio has been off the road for a couple of weeks – while Dave Haywood tied the knot and the rest of the band enjoyed a few days of well-earned vacation. They’ll return to their Own The Night 2012 World Tour with a two-night stand in New York City on May 3rd and 4th.

TV: COLDPLAY TO PERFORM ON AMERICAN IDOL!
According to EW, Coldplay will perform on American Idol on May 3rd. The British band is set to play a song off their latest album, Mylo Xyloto, during the results show. This marks the first time that Chris Martin and company have played the talent show. Coldplay are on tour right now and play San Jose, California on Friday night.
THE KILLERS’ SAXOPHONE PLAYER DIES
The Killers’ saxophone player, Thomas Marth, has committed suicide. The 33-year-old died Monday night at his Las Vegas home. Thomas toured with the group in 2008 and 2009 and can be heard on the band’s albums Sam’s Town and Day & Age. In a statement from The Killers, the group wrote, “We lost our friend…Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well. NEW MUSIC: MARK TREMONTI TO RELEASE SOLO ALBUM THIS SUMMER
Billboard reports that Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti will release a solo album this summer. The debut solo record is titled All I Was and will be released under the name Tremonti. The album is set to come out on July 10th and features 12 tracks on which Mark takes on vocals. “You Waste Your Time” will be the lead single from All I Was and is due out in a few weeks.
TLC TO CELEBRATE 20 YEARS WITH NEW ALBUM, TOUR AND MORE!
According to Billboard, in honor of the 20th anniversary of TLC, surviving members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have a slew of things in the works, including a new album, a VH1 made-for-TV movie series and a reunion tour. T-Boz and Chilli had announced that in celebration of their anniversary, Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes will be gracing the reunion tour stage through image projections on a big screen, but after the recent success of the Tupac digital performance at Coachella, the ladies are hoping to follow suit with a Lopes hologram. According to TMZ, the major U-S tour, which has already scheduled dates in five major cities, is set to kick off later this year.

For us, her death will never be a celebration, it's still something that hurts.” Chilli added, "Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn't ever going to change."

BRINTEY’S FIANCÉ NAMED HER CO-CONSERVATOR
Britney Spears’ fiancé, Jason Trawick, has been granted his wish to become her co-conservator. The talent agent's request was approved by a Los Angeles judge on Wednesday. Trawick petitioned the Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month to become the singer’s co-conservator. He will share the responsibility with Spears' father, Jamie Spears, who has maintained legal control of his daughter since February 2008. Trawick, who is Spears' former agent and co-star in her "Criminal" video, proposed to her in December on his 40th birthday with a four-carat diamond ring designed by Neil Lane.
DAVID GUETTA AND USHER MAKE NEW MUSIC
Fans of the David Guetta and Usher track “Without You” will be excited to know the duo recently logged studio time together. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the French DJ and the R&B crooner have teamed up on some new songs. Guetta said the records are “really crazy.” No word yet on when you may hear them. Usher will drop his new album, Looking For Myself, in June.
TAYLOR SWIFT PUTS BAKING SKILLS TO USE WITH SELENA GOMEZ
Taylor Swift has been spending some time hanging out with her best friend, Selena Gomez. Taylor, who has been spotted around L-A this past week, caught up with her pal and a few others to bake cupcakes. Selena used Instagram to showcase a collage of pictures with the caption, “Because you need a best friend that's sings beautifully, another best friend to dance with you and another to listen. Oh and cupcakes… Cupcakes."
