JUSTIN BIEBER PAPARAZZI CHASE: PHOTOGRAPHER TO FIGHT CHARGES

Justin Bieber was chased down the 101 Freeway last July by paparazzi trying to snap a picture of him in his car, a Fisker Karma. Bieber was then pulled over for driving recklessly, and in response, filed a harassment complaint against the main paparazzo for forcing him to drive the way he did. That man was Paul Raef, the first pap due to be charged under a new law that penalizes the paparazzi for driving dangerously in order to obtain photos of celebs for commercial purpose. Raef, who was charged with four misdemeanor counts, is challenging the law by stating his first amendment rights. Raef’s lawyers say the law is a violation of freedom of the press. According to PopSugar, the motion will go before a judge September 24th.
