HOW NICKELBACK DEALS WITH HATERS

Nickelback have sold millions of albums and sell out arenas all over the world, yet it seems hipsters and many bands love to hate the hard rocking Canadian group. They were recently mocked by an Idaho newspaper that suggested fans spent 45 dollars on a bag of hammers to hit themselves with instead of paying to see the band live, and The Black Keys also took a jab at the band recently.  Frontman Chad Kroger told the Edmonton Journal that they take the criticism in stride and “laugh” while they do it.  He added that he doesn’t think the band will receive any awards for their music, saying, "We may be dead by then but I think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will probably show up the same time as our first GRAMMY."  Nickelback have been nominated for six GRAMMYS including Record of the Year for “How You Remind Me,” back in 2003, but the group has yet to win the coveted award.  The band will take the stage in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday night.
