HOPPER’S WIFE ACCUSED OF TRYING TO KILL HIM! Did Dennis Hopper’s wife try to kill him? Yes, according to the actor’s assistant. TMZ reports that, as part of Dennis’ ongoing divorce battle with Victoria Hopper, assistant Emily Davis claimed in legal papers that everyone in the Hopper household were “at the mercy of [Victoria’s] cruelty” when Dennis went to the hospital last December, adding that Victoria “was trying to kill him.” Dennis’ wife wants to be sure that, if a divorce is granted, she gets inheritance from the actor, who is suffering from cancer. She told TMZ that Davis’ claims are “outrageous, horrifying and not based on facts or reality.”
BROOKE BURKE PREGNANT! Radar Online is reporting that Dancing With the Stars host Brooke Burke is pregnant with baby number five. This is Burke’s first season hosting Dancing With the Stars. She won the show back in 2008 with dancing partner Derek Hough. Brooke’s longtime domestic partner is Baywatch’s David Charvet.
A BLOSSOM REUNION! A Blossom reunion is coming to the small screen! www.FanCast.com is reporting that members of the hit ‘90s show including Mayim Bialik, Jenna Von Oy and Michael Stoyanov will be appearing on an episode of FOX’s ‘Til Death. Unfortunately, Joey Lawrence will not be taking part in the reunion. The ep is set to air on April 25th.
SIDIBE TO HOST SNL! Gabourey Sidibe will host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. According to E! Online, the Oscar-nominated star of Precious will appear on the sketch comedy show this spring.
NO TARANTINO FOR SMURFS! The forthcoming Smurfs movie still has some big names attached to it, but it won’t have Quentin Tarantino. The Pulp Fiction director was rumored to be the voice of “Brainy Smurf,” but the according to www.PerezHilton.com, the president of Sony Pictures Animation said that it simply “didn’t work out.” Both Katy Perry and Alan Cumming are still on board for the flick.
