GAGA SHIRT GETS KID IN TROUBLE
A teenager in White House, Tennessee was sent home from school for wearing a shirt inspired by Lady Gaga. According to WSMV TV in Nashville, Cole Goforth was sent home on Monday for wearing a shirt that said “I Heart Lady Gay Gay,” which he says he picked up at the local mall. Goforth’s mother said that the school is violating her son’s freedom of speech, and that they don’t get upset when kids wear shirts with religious connotations or with rebel flags on them. THE KILLERS TAKE HOME AWARD
Rolling Stone reports that the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers will honor The Killers this month by giving them the Vanguard Award. The Las Vegas band will be honored at the 27th Annual Pop Music Awards on April 21st in Los Angeles. All-American Rejects, Jason Mraz, Patti Smith and others are set to perform at the invite-only show.

On Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, there are tall buildings that are used as canvases to promote movies, album releases and other products. On Tuesday, six days after The Last Song opened in theaters, a huge ten story poster for the film was being torn down and replaced with a Toy Story 3 poster. The film debuted at number four at the weekend box office and has raked in just over 25-million dollars.

MICHAEL JACKSON PORTRAIT ON EBAY
A portrait of Michael Jackson is going up for auction online. The 50 by 40-inch painting by Australian artist Brett-Livingstone Strong is up for auction on eBay now. According to the Associated Press, the portrait – titled The Book – is reportedly the only painting for which the King of Pop ever posed. It depicts Jackson in a red velvet jacket, clutching a journal at his Neverland Ranch. The painting originally sold for 2.1-million dollars in 1990 and was appraised by Belgo Fine Art Appraisal and Restoration at 5.3-million dollars in 2000. The minimum eBay bid is 2.75-million dollars. The auction ends on April 17th.
