TIGER WOODS AD! There is a new Nike ad featuring the voice of Tiger Woods’ deceased father. In the commercial, the late Earl Woods talks while viewers see a black and white video of Tiger staring into the camera. In the 30-second spot, Woods’ father can be heard saying, “Tiger…I want to find out what your thinking is…and did you learn anything?” See the ad by heading to YouTube and searching “Tiger Woods Nike Father.”
KATE RESPONDS TO JON! Kate Gosselin’s lawyer has responded to Jon Gosselin’s full custody lawsuit, calling the reality dad’s attempts “pathetic.” Earlier this week, Jon filed papers to try and get full custody of his children, calling Kate an absentee mom because she is participating in Dancing With the Stars. According to TMZ, Kate’s lawyer goes on to say that the suit filed by Gosselin is incoherent and will be thrown out.
DWTS JUDGE DOESN’T LIKE KATE! There has been much talk about how poorly Kate Gosselin is doing on Dancing with the Stars, and apparently, one of the judges on the show wholeheartedly agrees. Bruno Tonioli went on Lopez Tonight and said that the reality star is “dreadful” and “crap,” but that he means it in a “nice way” and that she’s “entertaining.” See the video of Bruno speaking his mind on www.TMZ.com.
KATE IS COMING BACK TO TLC! Kate Gosselin is coming back to TLC, but Jon Gosselin won’t be anywhere in sight. A rep for the network confirmed to People that Kate will star a new show called Twist of Kate, as well as in a couple Kate Plus 8 specials, which will focus on her being a single mom. Twist of Kate will focus on Gosselin helping families that have challenges at work or home, and will air sometime this summer.
OPRAH ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW! Oprah Winfrey has announced that she will host a new show. The new series will be called Oprah’s Next Chapter and it’ll be a nightly show airing on her new cable network, two or three times a week, starting late next year. According to the Wall Street Journal, the program will follow Winfrey on adventures around the globe. Back in November, the host announced that she was ending The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2011.
MEL GIBSON GOING THROUGH AMICABLE SPLIT! According to TMZ, Mel Gibson and his former wife, Robyn, are playing nice during their divorce proceedings. The pair is reportedly seeing eye to eye on the big issues and the couple hasn’t even needed a judge to help make decisions, just lawyers and accountants so far. Gibson and Robyn run a film company together called Icon Films and since the actor doesn’t have the money to buy his ex out, they’ll still be in business together.
THE NEXT SUSAN BOYLE? We may have discovered the next Susan Boyle, by way of the Taiwan TV show Super Star Avenue. Lin Yu Chun, a contestant on the American Idol-type show, covered Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and the amazing clip is circling around the Internet, just like Boyle’s rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” did. Chun is the frontrunner to win the million dollar grand prize on the show.

BABY NEWS! Grey’s Anatomy actress Jessica Capshaw and her husband are expecting their second baby. According to People magazine, the pair is thrilled and the baby will be born later this year. Jessica and her hubby, Christopher Gavigan, already have a two-and-a-half-year-old son named Luke.
NEW SEASON OF JERSEY SHORE! The second season of Jersey Shore will premiere on MTV on Thursday, July 29th at 9 PM. A spokesperson for MTV told MTV Radio that this season we’ll see the likes of Snooki and The Situation frolicking in Miami and then heading back to Seaside Heights house to party for the rest of the summer. MTV.com is reporting that all the cast members are coming back for season two.
