The Dave Matthews Band is putting together a new EP titled The Haiti Relief Project. It features five previously unreleased live tracks and is available now for only five-dollars at DMBLive.com. All proceeds from the sale of the EP, as well money from purchases of a limited-edition t-shirt with the album’s cover art on it, will go toward supporting the band’s Bama Works Haiti Relief Fund charity. THE SCRIPT HELP RAISE MONEY FOR HAITI
Danny O’Donoghue, the frontman of The Script, is doing his part to help raise money for the people of Haiti. The singer has put the leather jacket that he wore in the video for their hit song “Breakeven” up for auction on eBay. Eddie Vedder has released a Bruce Springsteen cover to raise money for charity. At www.iTunes.com, you can now download the Pearl Jam singer’s live version of “My City Of Ruins,” which he performed at the Kennedy Center Honors last year. Proceeds from sales of the track will go towards the Artists for Peace and Justice Haiti Relief charities.
BEYONCE TO STAR IN SUPERBOWL AD
According to ETOnline.com, Beyonce Knowles will appear as a spokesperson for VIZIO TVs in a new Super Bowl commercial. While the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts battle it out on the field, viewers can expect to see Bey’s ad to run during the fourth quarter of the game. Be sure to watch the Super Bowl XLIV on February 7th on CBS.
