ITUNES SALES GIVE THREE-MILLION TO HAITI! According to Billboard.com, the Hope For Haiti Now album has reportedly raised over three-million dollars in sales on iTunes. Jay-Z’s charity single alone, titled “Stranded” and featuring Bono, The Edge and Rihanna, received 131-thousand downloads! The money will directly benefit the relief efforts in Haiti.

 

JOE DIRT IS BACK! David Spade’s 2001 film Joe Dirt didn’t do very well at the box office, but apparently, the former SNL star will still try to make it into an animated series for TBS. According to www.PerezHilton.com, it’s one of three animated shows the network is developing, with the other two titled Neighbors From Hell and Good and Evel.

 

GATES DONATES BILLIONS! Bill and Melinda Gates have announced that they plan on donating ten-billion dollars to a ten-year program that helps to provide vaccines for AIDS, tuberculosis, rota virus and pneumonia to countries in need across the globe. CNN reports the Gates’ announced the news at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, saying that they expect the aid to decrease the amount of deaths in the next decade dramatically.

 

NICOLE RICHIE DENIES EATING DISORDER! In the March edition of Marie Claire, Nicole Richie denies ever having an eating disorder. The 28-year-old says, “I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t. It’s extremely insulting and irresponsible.” Learn more at www.People.com.

 

JWOWW READY FOR PLAYBOY! Jersey Shore star Jenni “J Woww” Farley will keep the boys saying “wow” when she takes her blonde extensions to Playboy! According to AccessHollywood.com, the reality star says she wants a “celebrity centerfold and cover” and surprisingly revealed “it’s already in the works.”

 

BRYAN BATT OUT OF MAD MEN! Bryan Batt, who played “Salvatore Romano” on Mad Men, will not be returning to the show for the upcoming season. Last season, Batt’s character was outed as a gay man and fired from the Sterling Cooper Ad Agency and for that, he’s not coming back. Show creator Matthew Weiner told TV Guide that while he loved working with Brian, “It was an expression of the times that he couldn’t work there anymore.
