KINGS OF LEON WRITING NEW ALBUM
Kings of Leon started off the week with three GRAMMY wins for their song “Use Somebody.” Later that night, the Nashville band revealed to Vh1 Radio that they’re already working on a new album, the follow-up to their 2008 disc Only By The Night. After admitting that they’d had some celebratory drinks, frontman Calab Followill said he doesn’t expect too many collaborations on the new effort as they make him nervous. No word as to when the new music will hit stores.
LADY GAGA TALKS GRAMMY PERFORMANCE

ROB THOMAS PART OF “WE ARE THE WORLD”
We may not know the complete list of artists getting together for Lionel Richie’s remake of the song “We Are The World,” but we do know one! KELLY CLARKSON WANTS TO HELP ANIMALS
Leona Lewis may get all the credit for being an animal lover, but Kelly Clarkson is one too! The original American Idol took to her Twitter page to write that she “just saw the saddest humane society commercial” and that she “can't believe how cruel people are to animals.” She went on, asking fans who are considering bringing her presents at her shows to instead, donate to the humane society, a gesture she called the “best gift.” Follow Kelly at www.Twitter.com/Kelly_Clarkson.
SPICE GIRL’S BOYFRIEND ARRESTED
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell’s boyfriend was arrested for cocaine possession over the weekend in London. According to British paper The Daily Mail, Henry Beckwith, who is said to be worth upwards of 600-million dollars, was searched after being suspected for being in possession of narcotics. RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS DEBUT NEW GUITARIST
Red Hot Chili Peppers played their first show with their new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, this past weekend at the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala celebrating Neil Young. The band played the classic 1972 Young tune “A Man Needs a Maid.” Josh joined the Chili Peppers in early January after John Frusciante announced in December he was leaving the group.
