CONAN PAYS JOBLESS STAFF OUT OF OWN POCKET! Conan O’Brien has officially left NBC and now the rest of his staff is out of a job. Though many of the people on his crew received compensation, some did not, so Conan is reaching into his own pockets to pay severance for close to 50 employees who didn’t receive a package. The New York Daily News reports Conan will pay for at least six weeks of his stage hands’ wages.

BOSTON LEGAL STAR DIES. Justin Mentell, best known for his role in Boston Legal, was killed in a car accident in Wisconsin. According to NBC Chicago, the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after his Jeep went off the road and into an embankment, hitting two trees.

DEADLIEST CATCH CAPTAIN IN COMA. Phil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Marie, a boat featured in the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch, suffered a stroke last Friday. He has since undergone a 12-hour surgery to reduce brain swelling and is now in a medically induced coma. According to the New York Daily News, Harris’ family released a statement thanking fans for their well-wishes and support.

SNOOKI HAS NUDE PHOTOS?! It was only a matter of time until more nude photos surfaced from The Jersey Shore cast members. Much like Jenni "J-Woww" Farley’s self-portraits, www.RadarOnline.com reports there are now pictures and a video of a naked Snooki currently being shopped. One of the images shows the reality star wearing only a smile, on her knees, with one hand on the floor and the other grabbing the bed frame. The other shot is too scandalous to even describe. Snooki hasn’t yet confirmed or denied if it’s really her in the photos.

CHANGES FOR GIBSON?! Mel Gibson has quit smoking and drinking for his three-month-old daughter Lucia. However, the one thing he won’t give up is his gun, whicih he sleeps with at night. According to PerezHilton.com, Gibson stated, “If I’m lying in bed and somebody comes into my room, I’ll either wake up or I won’t. And I’ll either hit them with my big stick that I’ve got or my gun that I’ve got. It is a bad way to live. But that’s what you’ve gotta do.”

BRITTANY MURPHY FOUNDATION! The Brittany Murphy Foundation, set up by the late actress’ husband, Simon Monjack, is having a launch party tomorrow. Monjack is asking for one-thousand to ten-thousand dollar donations to attend the event, which takes place at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.
