HEIDI’S MOM REACTS TO HER SURGERIES! After undergoing ten plastic surgeries in one day, Heidi Monag’s mother, Darlene, was beyond shocked to see her daughter’s new appearance. The Hills star told www.People.com that when her mother saw her for the first time, “She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak.” Heidi claims has no regrets about altering her looks and believes she’s now “the most beautiful, inside and out,” adding “it’s part of being a pop star.”

LEIF GARRETT ARRESTED! Former teen idol Leif Garrett was arrested on Monday for possession of a controlled substance. Garrett was busted at a downtown L-A train station with heroin and remained in jail until yesterday morning. He’s due in court on February 24th. This isn’t his first train-bust either – Leif was arrested in 2006 for possession of heroin and Quaaludes on the train itself.

BRITTANY MURPHY FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER CANCELLED! According to TMZ, Simon Monjack, husband of the late Brittany Murphy, cancelled the fundraiser scheduled for last night. No official word as to why Monjack scrapped the shindig, but TMZ reported it was due to an “illness in the family.” All proceeds from the event were to go to The Brittany Murphy Foundation, which is said to help fund arts education for children. DEPP WORKING ON KEITH RICHARDS DOC! Johnny Depp is set to direct a documentary about Rolling Stone Keith Richards. In a European interview, Depp revealed he’s working on the flick now and his editor is sorting through tons of concert footage. Johnny went on to say, “I’m very touched that Keith agreed to show up in front of my cameras.” The actor based his “Jack Sparrow” character from The Pirates of the Caribbean films on Keith and Richards even shows up in one of the movies, playing “Sparrow’s” dad. DEADLIEST CATCH CAPTAIN AWAKE! As we reported yesterday, Phil Harris, one of the captains seen on the Discover Channel’s Deadliest Catch, was in a medically induced coma after undergoing surgery following a stroke. Well Phil is now awake and according to TMZ, showing signs of improvement. While the Harris’ are still cautious, they say one good sign is that one of the first things Phil did when he woke up was tell the doctors and nurses, “Don’t f**k up!”
