BARENAKED LADIES ARE HITTING THE ROAD
The Barenaked Ladies are hitting the road. In support of their forthcoming album All In Good Time, which hits stores on March 30th, the band just announced via press release that they will be heading out on a headlining trek that kicks off April 6th in Victoria, Canada, and runs through June 5th. MORE NEWS ON MADONNA’S MOVIE
We reported earlier that Madonna is set to direct a movie called W.E., which tells the story of King Edward VIII, and that Vera Farmiga may star in the flick. Now, news is coming out that Madge wants Dr. Who star David Tennant to portray the Monarch. According to www.ContactMusic.com, a source says that Madonna is “really keen to get into directing again” and that she really likes Tennant’s work. The film is still in preproduction.
BEYONCE TOP SELLING ARTIST OF DECADE
According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Beyonce has just been named the top-selling artist of the decade. The singer reportedly attained an impressive 64 certifications for albums, ringtones and music videos. In addition, N Sync's No Strings Attached, OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and Shania Twain's Up! tied for the decade's highest-selling albums with sales of 11- million, and Flo Rida's "Low" was the highest-certified digital song with sales of five million.

OWL CITY HEAD TO EUROPE

BLACK EYED PEAS RELEASE EPIC VIDEO
The Black Eyed Peas released an epic video featuring their new singles “Imma Be” and “Rock That Body.” The 10-minute video was directed by Rich Lee and features the Peas on a mission to jumpstart the party in the year 3008. The futuristic clips show the Peas’ taking on a giant robot. Halfway through the video, “Imma Be” transitions into “Rock That Body” and Fergie is kidnapped. The rest of the Peas’ then rush to save their First Lady. The guys ultimately get their girl, blasting away at bystanders along the way who start breakin' after being struck by the robot’s rays. In the end, the evil robot can't compete with the Peas' partying and loses a dance-off and tumbles to the ground.

BLACK EYED PEAS FLYAWAY
The Black Eyed Peas are giving away a free trip to Los Angeles to a lucky fan. The prize includes airfare, hotel and tickets to their March 30th show at Staples Center. The show will be broadcast live to hundreds of movie theaters across the country.

MELLENCAMP FOR SENATE?
Indiana Senator Evan Bayh will not seek re-election this year and now, a new movement has sprung up urging one famous Indiana native to run for the Senator’s seat – John Mellencamp. Mellencamp has always been vocal about issues, going so far as to co-found the annual Farm Aid concerts which benefit independent farmers. John also helped campaign for Barack Obama during the Presidential elections. When asked about a potential run, Mellencamp’s publicist said, “As of now, there is no response.”
