IS CHAD KROEGER MAD AT A PICKLE?
There is a popular fan page on Facebook called Can This Pickle Get More Fans than Nickelback. Well apparently it can, and frontman Chad Kroeger is none too pleased about it. www.PerezHilton.com is reporting that Chad himself wrote to Coral Anne, the founder of the group on the social networking site, threatening to close the page in two weeks. Anne then responded by writing, “Still whooped your ass, Chad.” No word on if it’s actually Chad writing these things or if it’s just someone posing as the singer. Learn more at www.PerezHilton.com.

JESSICA SIMPSON TO GO ON OPRAH
Jessica Simpson will be making an appearance in the coming weeks on the Oprah Winfrey Show. www.TVGuide.com is reporting that the singer has been booked for the hit daytime program, but a specific date hasn’t been set yet. Rumors have been flying that this means Jessica will finally talk about the comments John Mayer made about her in his now infamous interview with Playboy, but neither Simpson’s or Winfrey’s camps would say which topics will be discussed.

3EB GUITARIST IS SUING THE BAND
Third Eye Blind guitarist Tony Fredianelli is suing the band. According to AbsolutePunk.net, the axe-man says that he wasn’t given song writing credit on four tunes on their latest album Ursa Major and that he hasn’t been able to collect any publishing money for his work on the record. MUSE IS UPSET
Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme is upset that their new songs won’t be heard on free streaming services on the Internet. The British band is on Warner Music and that label has stated that their artists’ music will no longer be available on free streaming sites, as those sites are “not positive for the industry.” The Muse member told the BBC that denying streaming is like taking their songs off the radio. THE PEAS BRING LENNON TOUR BUS ON THE ROAD
According to www.Billboard.com, the Black Eyed Peas are taking the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus on the road. The bus is a non-profit mobile recording and multimedia studio that has joined the Peas’ tour until April 10th. Fergie recorded her hit "Fergalicious" and other solo songs on the mobile studio. It will not only serve as the official recording studio for the Peas, but will also be available for upcoming student projects in cities visited by the Peas while they tour. Lennon Bus on-board engineers will work with the students to help produce the projects. The students will then be granted access to see the Peas perform.
BIG ARTISTS ON THE HOT TUB TIME MACHINE SOUNDTRACK
The soundtrack for the upcoming movie Hot Tub Time Machine, which features John Cusack and Craig Robinson, will be available on March 23rd, and it features some pretty big names. According to a press release, some of the bands and singers on the disc include Men Without Hats, INXS, David Bowie, the English Beat and even a version of “Jessie’s Girl” performed by The Office star Robinson. Hot Tub Time Machine hits theaters on March 26th.
