NEW ALBUM, TOUR FROM GOO GOO DOLLS

 

The Goo Goo Dolls are poised to have a very busy 2010. The “Iris” band just announced via press release that they will be releasing a new album sometime this year and that it will be titled Something For The Rest of Us. This is the follow-up to their 2006 record Let Love In, and will be their ninth studio album. The group is also heading out on a spring tour in support of the forthcoming release. It kicks off April 6th in Augusta, Georgia, and will wrap up May 16th in Peoria, Illinois. GAGA WANTS TO DO A 3-D CONCERT

 

Lady Gaga is one of the most innovative artists around when it comes to her live show, and it seems that she’s ready to bump it up yet another level. According to MTV News, a rep from her record label said that the “Bad Romance” singer is in “talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future,” after her current Monster Ball tour wraps up. The rep didn’t give any details on what exactly a 3-D concert would entail, or when we might see it. Learn more at www.MTVNews.com.

 

LADY GAGA COMING TO ROCK BAND

 

MTV Games announced that a four pack of songs from Lady Gaga will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store. The “Lady Gaga Pack” will include “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” “Monster” and “Poker Face,” and will be available for purchase as “Lady Gaga Pack 01,” as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and as individual tracks only on Wii. Additionally, a special version of Gaga’s “Poker Face,” made famous by South Park’s “Eric Cartman,” will also be available in the Rock Band Music Store next week. The track first appeared in the “Whale Whores” episode which will re-air on Comedy Central on Tuesday at 9:30 PM.

Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin has finally spoken out about the future of the group.
