Haven’t heard anything from Kelly Clarkson recently? Well that’s because she’s been in South Africa, and it appears that she hasn’t just been on vacation. MADONNA’S NEW FASHION LINE

 

Madonna has always been one of the most fashionable pop stars around, so perhaps it only makes sense that she is getting involved with her own clothing line. Reuters reports that Madge and Iconix Brand Group announced on Wednesday that they will be launching a new fashion line, which will start with a junior’s collection being sold at Macy’s beginning in August. The line is supposed is set to include clothing and accessories, and will aptly be called Material Girl.

 

PEARL JAM TO TOUR

 

Pearl Jam announced a Midwest and East Coast 11-date tour yesterday. The band will hit the road on May 3rd in Kansas City and wind down on May 21st at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Before the jaunt, the guys will perform at the New Orleans Jazz Festival on May 1st. Pearl Jam will also perform at various European festivals this summer. SNOW PATROL FRONTMAN HAD DISLOCATED JAW

 

Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody recently came across an interesting discovery. According to British paper The Daily Record, the singer found out that he has had a dislocated jaw for about eight years, after injuring it while falling and then never getting it looked at. The paper reports that recently, the pain became too much for Lightbody, so he has since had surgery on his jaw and will have to wear a “dental appliance” for the immediate future.

On the second episode of If I Can Dream, the new online show from American Idol creator Simon Fuller, the aspiring actors, musicians and models all had the chance to meet up with and pick the brains of Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta in New York City. COLLECTIVE SOUL ARE ON THE ROAD

 

Collective Soul are going to have a very busy rest of the year.
