JESSE JAMES RELEASES A STATEMENT ABOUT CHEATING RUMORS

Yesterday, Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James, released a statement to People magazine regarding the rumors that he had an affair. James states that most of the allegations out there are “untrue and unfounded” but he goes on to blame himself for “this whole situation” and says that he has exercised “poor judgment.” However, James doesn’t state specifically what he’s talking about.

·FULL STATEMENT: “The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

CONAN ON FOX? It looks like Conan O’Brien may have found a TV home. According to TMZ, FOX has been in touch with some of their affiliates, saying that Conan O’Brien may be looking at an 11 o’clock to midnight timeslot with the network. No official word from either camp has been released about the venture, but TMZ is reporting the comedian and FOX are in serious talks.

CELEB SEPERATION NEWS! A spokesperson for Sam Mendes has denied that the British director cheated on Kate Winslet with actress Rebecca Hall. Internet rumors were swirling that that’s why Mendes and Winslet have separated, but the rep told E! Online that it’s “utter nonsense.”

SIMON’S WEDDING! Simon Cowell is engaged to American Idol make-up artist Mezghan Hussainy. While Cowell has not confirmed the date of his wedding, Popeater is reporting the Idol judge and his fiancée are already trying to book Elton John for the ceremony.

BABY DADDY! It’s been revealed that venture capitalist Adam Dell is the father of Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi’s daughter. Since Padma announced her pregnancy in October, she has refused to reveal the identity of her baby’s father. According to the Wall Street Journal, the movie rental company has announced they may have to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy because of declining sales.
