KATY PERRY TALKS NEW ALBUM
Katy Perry has just revealed some information about her forthcoming sophomore album, the follow-up to her hit debut One of the Boys. MTV News recently caught up with the pop star on a red carpet, and she said that it will be released this summer. She also described the effort, saying, “It's roller-skating! It's '90s! It's Ace of Base! It's Cyndi Lauper!” Perry also said that “there might be some really cool guest appearances by some cool rappers from the West Coast.” She recently posted a picture on her Twitter of herself with Snoop Dogg, so could she be alluding to a collaboration? Is Russell Brand really like bridezilla? Well fiancée Katy Perry sure seems to think so. The “I Kissed a Girl” singer told MTV News recently that the comedian is always “buying bride magazines” and is a “total bridezilla.” No official word yet on when the two are planning to tie the knot.
CHRIS DAUGHTRY TALKS ACTORS, ACTING

MORE OPENERS ANNOUNCED FOR BON JOVI SHOWS
We reported yesterday that Train is set to open up for Bon Jovi at the first show ever at the new Meadowlands stadium, and now, some information has come out about the second and third shows as well. Both will still feature Bon Jovi as the headliner, but opening up for the band on the second night will be Gavin DeGraw, and then on the third will be OneRepublic. The shows are set to take place on the 26th, 27th and 29th of May.
MADONNA WORKS WITH DAUGHTER ON FASHION LINE
We recently reported that Madonna was going to be releasing Material Girl, a fashion line for juniors that will be available at Macy’s later in the year. Well the pop star didn’t have to look very far to find inspiration, because according to the Associated Press, Madge’s daughter Lourdes helped her create Material Girl. About working with her daughter, Madonna said that she “respects her tastes” and that they “rarely disagree.” Material Girl is due out in the fall.
ARE HOOTIE & THE BLOWFISH COMING BACK?
Could Hootie & the Blowfish be making a comeback? According to the New York Post, frontman Darius Rucker, who has previously said that there wouldn’t be any more new music from Hootie, has apparently changed his mind. AMY WINEHOUSE DELAYS ALBUM
Amy Winehouse has reportedly had to delay the release of her next album, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2006’s Back to Black. British paper the Daily Star is reporting that the embattled singer has decided to scrap some tracks because they were negatively directed at ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, with whom she has since reconciled. A source said, “Amy has written some of her best songs ever for this album but she now feels like they don't belong. She's not going to put out an album just because her record company wants her to, so it's back to the drawing board.”
ADAM LAMBERT TO PERFORM AT GLAAD AWARDS
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adam Lambert will perform at next month's Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards. The singer is also nominated for Outstanding Music Artist. The GLAAD Awards, which take place in L-A on April 17th, will pay tribute to Wanda Sykes and Drew Barrymore.
GREEN DAY TALK NEW ALBUM
MTV News caught up with Green Day recently and the band got to talking about their new album. The group said they’re currently in the songwriting phase for the disc, which will be the follow-up to their 2009 album 21st Century Breakdown. Singer Billie Joe Armstrong told the outlet that they are trying to get back to the basics, which the singer says at first made them sound like crap. The effort is still a work in progress and for now, fans will just have to be happy with catching the Broadway play, American Idiot, which features Green Day’s music.

PATRICK STUMP TALKS SOLO ALBUM
Patrick Stump recently talked with MTV News about his new solo effort. The Fall Out Boy frontman told the outlet the direction of his solo disc has changed and evolved as the future of F-O-B has been less and less clear.
