LETTERMAN’S EXTORTIONIST RELEASED! The former CBS news producer convicted of blackmailing David Letterman has been released from jail. Robert Halderman served four months in jail after pleading guilty to attempting to extort two-million dollars from the Late Show host.

Ashton wrote on his Twitter account that Star magazine is completely false in their accounts and he’s going to get his lawyers to contact the magazine.
