From the "who didn't see that coming" department, Katie Holmes has filed for divorce from Tom Cruise after five years of marraige.

Katie's attorney released a statement saying, "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family."

I'm sure everyone will comply.

They haven't been seen together in public since back in February, and she hasn't been at any of his "Rock of Ages" premieres.
