Trenton, NJ ranks as the least romantic city in America.

The rankings were made by the social media site Foursquare, which allows users to check in when they're out and about. Trenton had the least amount of check ins on Valentine's Day, which means couples are just plain not going on dates in that capital city.

Other unromantic cities included: Akron, Virginia Beach, Springfield in Missouri, El Paso, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Greenville, Lansing and Tucson.

Those that were considered more romantic were: San Francisco, New Orleans, New York City, Savannah, Honolulu, Portland, Harrisburg, Seattle, Charleston and Denver.
