Yay! More changes are coming to the Facebook Timeline. Anything to keep me from having to read people complaining about how all republicans or all democrats are idiots. Anything to keep me from having to see another picture of the mad cat.

Anything to keep me from wanting to eat my computer after looking at all the Pinterest recipe postings of cupcakes.

So...here are the Timeline changes coming to facebook according to the Chicago Tribune article posted a few hours ago (1/9/13):

• Your posts will now be in a single wide column on the left side instead of that crazy spitting thing where posts are randomly put all over the freaking place.

• The boxes near the top below your cover image will be swapped out with a cleaner looking tabbed thing.

• There's a new "collections manager" so you can drag and reorder your collections and put maps and friends where you want them. You'll be able to move things around on the ride side.

• People who subscribe to your public updates will now be called....wait for it....wait for it...followers. Subscribers/followers are different than friends. Friends will still be called friends. Until Twitter comes up with something better that Facebook can steal.
