It's National Martini Day......How 'Bout a Rasperry Champagne Martini

Did you know that it's National Martini Day? I didn't until now, but I'm glad I figured it out.

Every once in awhile I do enjoy a vodka dirty martini but that's on a rare occasion as they can be a bit too much for most people's taste buds. So I went in search of a little sweeter martini to enjoy today and I found this great recipe for a Raspberry Champagne Martini.

Careful though! They taste so delicious that you might forget what's in it.

Raspberry Champagne Martini

3 ounces champagne, chilled
3 ounces vodka, top shelf
2 tablespoons raspberry puree
2 fresh raspberries

1 Add 1 tablespoon of raspberry puree into the bottom of each of 2 well chilled martini glasses.

2 Shake vodka in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full of cracked ice and strain vodka into each glass, dividing equally and taking care not to disturb the raspberry puree.

3 Gently add champagne to each glass and garnish each with a raspberry or other type of fruit. Enjoy!
