So, I've always been a bit of a purist when it comes to camping... I don't have a camper, or one of those homes on wheels with a recliner, a tv, and a shower. Camping always seems to be more fun when you're actually 'roughing it'.
I think this is one of the coolest camping inventions I've seen in many years. It's a tent that you suspend from trees, so you're up and off of the ground. If you hate the idea of spiders, snakes, and forest creatures finding their way inside of your tent, the Tentsile is the answer.
On top of being extremely cool, I'm guessing there are more uses for this outside of camping... and it's just a matter of time before we see hunters using these as 'stands' in the woods, and why not? May as well hunt in comfort.
Here's an introduction:
It's not necessarily an entry level camping item, but the downfall of the Tentsile may be the price. Hopefully, like everything else, the price eventually comes down.
